Mural Mural on the Wall was founded in 1986 by Stacy Ridgeway, an art teacher living in Atlanta, GA. Stacy received a BFA in fine arts in 1980 and a MFA in 1985. It was then Stacy realized his talent for painting murals should be shared with the world, and he began to embark on painting school mascots and logos on a grander scale.
To date, the Ridgeways have painted over 40,000 murals in more than 15 states. What they create is not just organized paint on a wall but school pride, inspiration to learn and countless memories.
Stace, who is based in New York City, was groomed by his father since the age of 3. Stace watched the mural process and slowly but surely began learning the family business. During his adolescence, Stace helped his father paint, when he had free time from getting a solid education, and joined him full time after graduating high school. Since then Stace has taken the mural business to new heights by curating a digital space to display the company's growth. From video production to social media, Mural Mural on the Wall's reach extends far beyond painting.
Stacy pioneered the mural industry, with his son at his side, they refined that industry. To date, the Ridgeways have painted over 40,000 murals in more than 15 states. What they create is not just organized paint on a wall but school pride, inspiration to learn and countless memories.
